Cobramatic Push -Pull System

CobraMig 400P Pulsed MIG Welding Power Source (Model Number: 186-004)

The CobraMig® 400P is a pulsed MIG welding power source that works with the Cobramatic® wire feed push-pull technology. Exclusive CobraMig® 400P software algorithms allow for hard wire and aluminum welding when using the Cobramatic wire feed cabinet (model 150-006).
The CobraMig® 400P is rated at 60% duty cycle in Standard DC and 50% in Pulse DC at 400 Amps max. Automatic three-phase voltage sensing, allows for either 208/230VAC or 460VAC at 50/60 Hz input. The easy to read wire size selector, alloy type and welding method make the system user-friendly.
Features

Wave pulse functions of the CobraMig® 400P allow for TIG-like welds on aluminum:

• Wave pulse utilizes superimposed low frequency pulse for hard wire and aluminum wire, which has been proven to reduce porosity and crack susceptibility.

• The wave pulse frequency is adjustable from 0.5 to 30 Hz.

• Wave pulse and arc control are simple adjustments on the CobraMig® 400P operation panel.

Comes Complete with • 8 ft interface cable, Cobramatic® 115VAC (005-0736)
This cable is designed to interface between the Cobramatic® wire feed cabinet model 150-006 to the CobraMig® 400P.

Connectivity • MK Guns Connectivity - MK Products air or liquid cooled guns can be easily connected and used on the Cobramatic® cabinet.
• Wire Feeder Connectivity - Can be easily connected and used with the Cobramatic® wire feed cabinet (model 150-006).

 
More Information

The CobraMig® 400P and the Cobramatic® system are completely synergic as programmed.

Wire feed speed, Amperage and arc voltage are commanded by the wire speed potentiometer in the push-pull welding gun.
