Not only is it available in air or liquid cooled models, it is also available with 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch consumables. The head weight is only two pounds five ounces, making the MX easy to work with, all day long.
The drive rolls are covered with a heavy duty door to keep debris out. Left handers will like the central location of the speed control, no more bumping the potentiometer as you are welding. The MX will also cater to mild, stainless steel, and flux cored applications..
The Cobra® MX gun will hook up to any Cobramatic® wire feed cabinet, no matter what the vintage. Just give MK Customer Service a call for information on adapting a new MX gun to your application.
Tip extenders are available for all Cobra® MX models, making these new guns even more adaptable to your welding needs. Unlike the Cobra® Gold, the MX gun does not need a complete front body replacement if the front end is damaged. Just replace the barrel and keep welding.
