The Cobra SX bears a resemblance to the Cobra Gold gun, but the SX is smaller, lighter, and can use the same consumables as the older Cobra Gold. With a centrally located wire feed control knob, there is no more bumping the potentiometer as you are welding. The SX also has the option of running .023 inch wire, and will also run stainless, mild steel, and flux cored wires as well as aluminum.
In many cases where clearance is an issue, standard size MIG guns can get a job started, but cannot complete it. That is where the Cobra SX comes in.
